The Rodeo is in Development

Rock of Love Girls: Where are They Now? (In Their Own Words)

I’ll just be up front about it: I love Rock of Love girls so much that I’d be willing to open a retirement home for them (if I ever find myself with an excess of cash). It would be an investment in self-perpetuating entertainment. In the meantime, getting to see them on VH1 again via Rock of Love Girls: where are They Now was a little slice of satisfaction in itself. Since I’ll never, under any circumstances pass up the opportunity to talk to a Rock of Love girl, I figured I’d take advantage of this opportunity and get a few of them on the phone to help flesh out their on-air updates.

What do you think about Bret Michaels: Life as I Know It?
Rodeo: I think it’s long overdue. Bret’s a wonderful guy, everyone looks up to him and I think that it’s perfect timing. With everything that happened to him with the tumor and him being hospitalized, I honestly believe that having Kristi and his kids helped him through it. I believe that he is more spiritual now. People that thought he was just a regular rocker and didn’t really have any beliefs, I think he’s made them turn around. Also, it made them listen to rock more, I do believe. He’s shown people how life goes on. I love him to pieces and I’m grateful that I know him. I’m grateful that I’m the first one he chose, and I think there’s a reason: ’cause I inspire people. That’s why I’m on the Where Are They Now special. I’m hoping it can make a difference in everybody.

How do you think Rock of Love will be remembered?
Rodeo: I think it will be remembered as women that wanted to find love, but didn’t. I believe it showed people a great time with rock and roll, and that show helped people like myself. I was real on that sow and I continue to be real today. It helped move my career in a positive way. I believe that it will be remembered for being the most-watched reality show in history. I think it will always be a No. 1 show. It was great fun.

How are you making a living now?
Rodeo: I’m the spokesperson and host for Sick Speed TV: Motor/Sports/Luxury/Lifestyle/Living. I tell you what’s hot and I bring the world what’s new, what’s old, how motor sports can be and how companies can trick out vehicles. It’s fun, it’s exciting. It’s something that everybody’s interested in. I’m also the spokesperson for Save the Horses. It’s for horses that are retired or abused or neglected. We find homes for them. I actually adopted a foal for my son while filming the Where Are They Now special. I’m also training twice a day to get ready for my workout videos. They’re going to film in the Keys in February and then I’m going to release three DVDs in spring, summer and fall. We already have investors that want to invest. Everyone is wanting to know how to train while they’re on vacation and this is one area of my life that I want to show to people. Even though it’s hardcore training, I want everyone to know that tehy can lose weight and live their everyday life and also help their kids to lose weight, as well. My DVDs will show people how to train outside of the gym, to work out and use any type of equipment out there or any type of stairs – whatever I train on, I’m going to show the world how to do it. But with my hat on. (Laughs) It’s great, it’s fun, it’s different, it’s new and it’s something that everyone would love to hear, I believe. I’m also going to be going on tour with Driven Livid, which is Pete Evick’s band – he’s Bret Michaels’ bass player. I cannot wait to be in people’s lives and inspire them. ‘Cause you know rock music: it’s true and it’s real and it comes from the heart.

Was transitioning from reality TV to reality difficult?
Rodeo: No, because I was real on the shows. I didn’t change and I don’t believe that you should change for anybody just because you’re on TV. By me remaining the person that I am, I believe that I connected on many levels with everyone, with my cancer history and being in a wheelchair and losing a child and struggling to have my son and not giving up despite my hard times. From reality TV to reality now, I still continue to be myself.

Are you happy?
Rodeo: I’m extremely happy. I have never in my life been so thrilled. I never thought I’d be able to have a show that everyone loves and that has a lot of speed and fast cares and lifestyle that gives you the adrenaline. If you’re having a down day, you can watch the show or go to a company that has fast cars like Aston Martin and Ducati – this show that I host gives you every feeling of power: fun, life-living, lifestyle. It’s just amazing. I’m happy. My son is happy.

Cindy “Rodeo” Steedle
Sheri Cunningham

With the face of an angel and a voice from heaven, Cindy “Rodeo” Steedle is touching lives worldwide.

Rising to fame in 2007 as a contestant on VH1’s “Rock of Love”, Cindy roped the hearts of the viewers with her enchanting devotion, her beaming smile and refreshing laughter that can stamp a smile on anyone’s face. Since this time, with remarkable passion, Cindy is stampeding through life with the zest of a wild mustang; reaching out to people and changing their lives with a heart the size of the Montana skies. It was my pleasure to speak with Cindy several times while doing this interview and I will expand on this great woman passion for helping others as I heard the drive and desire in her voice.

With her dazzling personality, Cindy continued on in “Rock of Love” seasons 2 and 3, the number one VH1 series, breeding pure passion with her honesty and friendliness. Following her appearances on VH1, Cindy has been involved with many other shows, including VH1’s “Rock of Love Girls, Where are They Now” and as “Sick Speed Motorsport” TV Host. This year is surpassing a gallop as Cindy fills her calendar with events, charities and a tour, just to mention a few. On March 12 2011, Rodeo made a special appearance at the Nutrition House Lifestyle Store in Atlanta, Georgia. The Nutrition House Lifestyle Store holds close and personal meaning for Rodeo. As a survivor of cancer, Rodeo’s deep personal tie with excellence and commitment to one’s health is unsurpassed. “No matter when I have up and downs, I will still push forward to be an inspiration for others.” Cindy states with great emotion in her voice. Supporting the Nutrition House Lifestyle Store comes second nature to Cindy, with the largest variety of natural health products of any Canadian chain while maintaining the highest standards; the Nutrition House Lifestyle Store is now available in the United States. With owners, Raymond and Norma Curby, and staff fully educated in their products, services and health issues and Cindy’s perspective on fitness and nutrition; this unbeatable trio is breaking new grounds in helping others to a healthier lifestyle.

In the later part of April, 2011, Cindy kicks off a US Tour making guest appearances with rock band, DRIVEN LIVID, on their “Zero To Hero” tour to film her new talk show, “The Voice Within”. Rodeo will continue to spread her passion for helping others alongside DRIVEN LIVID and Potomac Records raising monies for charities such as; The Sadie Rose Foundation, Heroes and Patriots, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, Save The Horses, and The American Diabetes Foundation. One would assume that this wonderful lady has her arena full of wild and exciting events, but for this amazing woman, stretching a little farther to improve someone’s life is just as routine as riding a horse. Now with her own television show, “The Voice Within”, a show to help those who cannot speak for themselves, whether a person or animal, she helps them face and overcome their fears. “Through The Voice, you’ll hear hopes, visions and dreams. My goal is not only to have the viewers watch and visit, but to walk away believing and saying to themselves, I can! I want to help others remember that we always have the strength, patience and passion within to overcome the challenges we face in life” explains Cindy.

With not only a passion for people, Cindy reaches out to animals in need also. Being spokesperson for Save the Horses, a cause that is very close to her heart, Cindy will again bless those present at “Harley’s for Horse Poker Run”: benefiting Save The Horses” on April 30, 2011 in Cumming, Georgia. Educating the public, bringing awareness of the bond between equines and human and the benefits they serve each other while also educating the public on equine abuse and the commitment to care for these therapeutic animals, is a heartfelt passion for Cindy.

Between appearances, charity events, television shows and movies, just to vaguely touch on all Cindy is involved in, Cindy is a true survivor of life’s challenges; – beating cancer, recovering from paralysis, and coping with the loss of her first child, she continues to be a loving mother and role model for her son. Cindy also helps others learn to succeed and survive, bringing awareness to causes close to her heart. “Things that have happened to me over the past years of my life, I believe that God put me through it for a reason. It has been a test for me through trial and error. I’ve learned how to come out on top and to not take life for granted. I now know my life will be filled with reaching out to others and assisting them through their struggles.” Cindy states with loving emotion.

Speaking with Cindy brings life into the listener as she did with me. A woman who speaks openly and honestly to a total stranger; filling her heart with a person’s struggles and shining life upon the challenges that others face. “If I can make a person smile, it’s all worth it”, states Cindy.
Without a doubt, Cindy “Rodeo” Steedle will be touching and forever changing people’s lives. Connecting with people as far as Ireland and Germany through simple Facebook interactions, Cindy is healing the hearts of people; it may be your next door neighbor or a soldier at the Walter Reed Hospital, she is an inspiration to all.
